Fearless Iranians From Hell - Holy War
Fearless Iranians From Hell was a very controversal band from San Antonio, Texas. They originally started as a Hardcore Punk band in 1983, but in 1988 they took the D.R.I. path and morphed into a Crossover Thrash outfit before disbanding some time in the early 90's. Their stage persona were that of Iranian Islamic extremists and lyrical themes were often about terrorism, religious persecution, and just plain fucking around. Here on their transition album, you will find a unique approach to Crossover Thrash, most notably songs that are very heavily influenced by their Hardcore roots, and the entire album clocks in at around 27 minutes, so it's great for thrashers with short attention spans. ;D

Northland - Freezing Sadness
Freezing Sadness is the first release from the Spanish Northland. They call their music style Celtic/Folk/Death Metal. That would not be far off but there are some elements of Black Metal like some of the vocals and overall lo-fi quality(still very listenable). But they mainly are Folk/Death Metal. Assück
Assück were a highly influential and highly brutal death/grind band from Florida. They have been described as "hardcore kids playing death metal". Their two full-lengths, Anticapital and Misery Index, have been hailed by many as grindcore masterpieces and I'd have to say that I agree. Both albums just barely exceed 15 minutes so if you don't like it, just wait a little bit and it'll be over.

The Accüsed were a kickass thrash band from Seattle, WA. They formed in 1980 and were said to be a big influence on grindcore. This is a vinyl rip so it sounds kinda weird but as far as I know, this album was never released on CD.
