Solstafir are an Icelandic group of four, with a unique sound depicting Icelandic landscapes. Their genre can be described as a mixture of experimental metal, post rock and some ambient as well. Sólstafir's roots are in the Black/Viking subgenre, and over the years they evolved to the unique sound in display in this album.
