Northland - Freezing Sadness

Freezing Sadness is the first release from the Spanish Northland. They call their music style Celtic/Folk/Death Metal. That would not be far off but there are some elements of Black Metal like some of the vocals and overall lo-fi quality(still very listenable). But they mainly are Folk/Death Metal. Well worth checking out.

Assück were a highly influential and highly brutal death/grind band from Florida. They have been described as "hardcore kids playing death metal". Their two full-lengths, Anticapital and Misery Index, have been hailed by many as grindcore masterpieces and I'd have to say that I agree. Both albums just barely exceed 15 minutes so if you don't like it, just wait a little bit and it'll be over.

The Accüsed were a kickass thrash band from Seattle, WA. They formed in 1980 and were said to be a big influence on grindcore. This is a vinyl rip so it sounds kinda weird but as far as I know, this album was never released on CD.
